Recognizing that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of the counselling experience, and that finding the right therapist can deeply impact your sense of safety, engagement, and progress in therapy, I approach counselling with care and intention, knowing that trust and connection are essential to meaningful work.

In the course of a therapeutic conversation, we may explore questions such as: What are your expectations and hopes for the process? What are your expectations of me as your therapist? How is trust built in therapy? What makes the counselling space feel safe and supportive? What has been your experience with past therapists, if any? How do we move at a pace that feels right for you?

I will invite you to ask your own questions and to become familiar with the therapeutic space I hold in ways that feel right for you.

“Safety is not the absence of threat, but the presence of connection.”  - Stephen Porges.

Let’s connect.
